The first definitive book on tea, ‘THE CH’A CHING’ is written by Lu Yu in 800 A.D.
In the year 1680 the concept of adding milk to tea was developed in Europe.
Tea remained popular in France for only 50 years, being replaced by a stronger preference of wine, chocolate and exotic coffees.
