After picking the leaves, all are to be taken in weathering house to lower down the moisture level in it. At this stage, Producer has to decide which type of tea he wants to produce, means ORTHODOX/CTC (Crush, Tear and Curl).
To make Orthodox tea, moisture level is to be maintained between 28% to 30% and all the leaves are to be passed through Rolling Unit.
To make CTC tea, all the leaves are to be passed through Rotor Van, in which leaves to be cut and than all leaves to be passed through CTC machine in which the rollers rotating in an opposite directions.
Than comes the Fermenting Process, in which all tea leaves converted into copper color from its original green color, and also controls the temperature in it.
At last, the Firing Process is to be done for all leaves at 180 to 225 degree centigrade.
